Tino's lifelong interest in plants and gardening stems from growing up on his family's small vineyard and olive grove.Since beginning his working lifel he has been involved in the horticultural industry as a designer and landscape gardener.
Tinonstudied landscape design at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and has an Associate Diploma in Horticulture.
He has worked as a volunteer for various environmental projects and has travelled nationally and internationally studying different aspects of horticulture.

Glorious parkland gardens with many rare conifers, dogwoods, bulbs and an old hops kiln relic. English maze, pond, camellias, azaleas, rhododendrons, gentle alpacas and friendly chooks. Visitors are most welcome.

Visit this working lavender farm in an idyllic lush riverside setting . A tree-lined drive of Canadian maples, pencil pines and liquid ambers will welcome you with lavender fields on either side. Rhododendrons and azaleas also make for a picturesque spring setting. Relax on the deck or in the mature wisteria laden courtyard savouring fresh Devonshire tea (as an extra), while enjoying the sounds of the sparkling Ovens River and views of the surrounding bush.

Shady Brook is set on 14 acres, 5 of which are landscaped and planted with thousands of spring flowering shrubs such as camellias, rhododendrons, azaleas and many others including Australian natives. The property also contains many exotic trees and shrubs with many being unusual or rare. Shady Brook is set on the Ovens River with natural bush and walking tracks as a backdrop. There is also a large and relaxing water feature and a man-made stream. You need to allow at least one hour appreciating the garden. The owners will be on site to answer any questions. Free light refreshments and toilet facilities available. Buses by prior appointment only.

This 9 year old garden has a lovely mix of cottage plants - over 100 varieties of daffodils, irises, native plants and conifers, dogwoods, camellias and clematis -all in many individual beds, landscaped and terraced with rocks and graveled pathways. Vegetable garden, chook house and composting area make this garden a delight to explore. Buses welcome.

This 3 year old garden, established by Bill and Elaine, reflects a love of creating a garden of historical appeal. It has a rustic approach, aiming at the days that have passed to remember the local area. Established with a maintenance free approach due to the owners living partly in Melbourne. A garden that children can enjoy. A combination of rocks and local stone feature throughout this garden as well as a large ornamental pond and other pieces of interest which pay tribute to the early settlers of the area.

Situated in the beautiful valley of Wandiligong around the corner from the maze. This established garden, set on 3/4 of an acre, contains a variety of camellias, azaleas, mollis, magnolias, viburnums ,trees and shrubs and a wide range of bulbs. At the rear of the property is a large bird-proof vegetable and berry garden with a stream running nearby. All plants withstand the wide variances of temperatures between -5 to 40 degrees experienced in our area.

Rae’s garden is in the beautiful setting of the Kiewa Valley. It is a large relaxed country garden divided into many rooms full of old fashion annuals, perennials and shrubs. Fox gloves, love-in-the-mist, Queen Anne lace, all kinds of iris, beautiful dogwoods, lilacs, all kinds of viburnum and many more. There is an old fashion water fountain, a mountain creek and lots of interesting features throughout the garden. Devonshire tea is served under the huge shady oak tree which has its own micro environment for shade loving plants. Plants and African jewellery are also for sale. Buses are welcome with notice. There is also a toilet for the public.

Bev’s large picturesque country garden is on a sloping site with stunning views of the Upper Kiewa Valley featuring red gum retaining walls, rose arches, rock gardens and water features. There are over 150 roses as well as annuals, perennials, shrubs, many different iris, love-in-the-mist and aquilegia interspersed with crepe myrtles, silver birch, maples, claret ash, liquid ambers and many more. Buses are welcome.
